What this family covers

Cages and frames hold an action camera, protect it, and add mounting points, while keeping the controls and ports reachable. The range covers cages for DJI action cameras, including the Osmo 360 line, ultra-light cages for Action 5, 4 and 3 series cameras, floating frames for GoPro Hero lines, and vlog frames for GoPro lines. A cage is built around a camera body, so fit is specific to the camera it was made for, and a cage for one generation is not interchangeable with a cage for another.

Only one cage in this family has a published specification table on this site: the metal cage for Action 6, which has its own detail page. All other cages and frames are covered here at family level. If a material, a mounting interface, or a dimension matters to your order, ask the supplier to confirm it for the exact cage model and camera generation, and do not borrow a figure from the Action 6 cage.

What to ask before ordering

Ask for the cage model and the camera generation it is built for, stated together, and for the mounting interfaces it provides. Ask whether every control and port you need stays reachable with the cage fitted, and whether the cage works with the mounts, lights, and microphones you plan to add. Cinema camera cages are outside this range: the cages here are for action cameras, and terms for cinema camera brands are not part of this site's range.
