Waterproof Cases for Action Cameras
What this family covers
Waterproof and dive cases are housings that enclose an action camera so it can be used in and around water. The only case with a published specification table on this site is the Action 6 case; for any other camera line, ask the supplier to confirm whether a case is offered for that exact model. Cases are model-specific products, with different cases built for different camera generations. A case is a model-specific product: the housing, the lens window, and the button layout are built around one camera, and a case for one generation does not become a case for another by looking similar.
Only one case in this family has a published specification table on this site: the 60m waterproof case for DJI Osmo Action 6, which has its own detail page. Whether cases are offered for Action 5, 4 and 3 series cameras, for GoPro Hero lines, or for other models is a question for the supplier: ask whether a case is offered for the exact case model and camera generation before ordering. That is a deliberate limit, not an omission to be filled by guessing: if a depth rating or a material matters to your order, ask the supplier to confirm it for the exact case model and camera generation. Carrying cases for transport and storage are a separate family on the bags page, not waterproof housings.
What to ask before ordering
Ask for the case model and the camera generation it is built for, stated together, and for the depth figure and the basis behind it. Ask whether the buttons operate every control you need through the housing, and whether the lens window suits the shooting you plan, including any filter use. Ask what is included with the case and what must be ordered separately, such as mounts or anti-fog inserts, so the inquiry covers the whole setup rather than the housing alone.
For the Action 6 case, the detail page gives the published figures and the photograph. For every other case, the family page is the starting point and the supplier's written answer is the specification. Do not carry the Action 6 figures across to another case model.
What to confirm before ordering
What to confirm before ordering: ask the supplier to confirm the exact model and camera fit, the specification basis for any figure quoted, current availability, and the commercial terms for your order. Put the camera model, the accessory model, and the quantity band in your inquiry so the answer can be checked against the listing.
